Outdoors

Our 2026 outdoor season will run from May 5, 2026 until September 26, 2025.

  • Tuesdays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (non-coached, all members are welcome but must be self sufficient)
  • Thursdays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (coached JOP night 6-8pm, and regular adult shooting)
  • Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (non-coached, all members are welcome but must be self sufficient).

Summer Shooting Signup

In an effort to ease field set up and interruptions, we're asking everyone to signup ahead of time for summer shooting. This allows us to set =up the butts and not be constantly stopping shooting.

Signup for Summer Shoots

No archery is permitted outside of our approved dates/times.

**Parents are reminded that there are bears in the area, and you are not permitted to drop your kids off--you must stay at the park while they are shooting.

Note that these times are weather dependent, and also on the availability of Range Safety Officers. If you don't hear from me we are open and have RSOs on site — if shooting is cancelled I'll send a club email. No News is Good News.

We can actually start shooting earlier on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but we currently will not have RSOs on site then, so if you want to shoot, you need to do the RSO training, which is online, free, open book, and simple. You don't need to be an experienced archer, but you do need to be willing to run the line, which also means ensuring everyone else is following safety rules. Info at: https://archerycanada.ca/programs/range-safety-officer/

There is no seating or water at Selvey park. Bring your own chair, bring a water bottle. The field is often damp in the mornings, so think about wearing waterproof shoes. A safety reminder on footwear: No Open Toed Shoes, No Sandals.

Outdoor Tournaments
Note that we're running tournaments on May 16th, June 13th, July 18th, August 22nd, September 19th, so there will be no club shooting those days. That being said, come out and participate in a tournament! They're fun, just another day of shooting.
