JOP Regional Tournament 2026
A province wide simple tournament, designed to show how to participate in a tournament setting with minimal pressure. The format is  a 300 indoor round. Timing clocks will be used, and proper scoring will be taught.
No need to sign up. Simply show up on Thursday night, February 5th for the regular club shoot. No fees are involved.
Indoor Mailmatch 2026

It's that time again. For those of you who recently joined the club, Archery Canada puts on a national tournament that is run within clubs across the country across multiple weeks in the schedule.

To participate, all you need to do is shoot one 300 round per week at the club, scored properly with either another competitor or an archer who knows how to score, and give those score sheets to the mail match coordinator, which would be me. I enter those into an online spreadsheet. An average of your scores is computed once you've reached a minimum of five weeks. If you shoot for more than 5 weeks, the average is of your 5 best scores. Medals are given at the end by age and category of bow. The scores are shown weekly on the Archery Canada website. It's an excellent way to see how you compare to others in your age group and shooting style across the country.

Sunday will be our normal Mailmatch day, but if you can't come on Sundays, let me know, and we can pair you up with someone else on Thursdays, even if they're not shooting mail match, to verify your scores. You need to hand in your scores every week -- if you shoot and don't hand them in, there's a maximum of one week in which I can enter the scores.

The cost is $15. To sign up, you need to have a 2mev/Interpodia account, which you would have used to join the club.

The tournament runs from January 1st to the end of March, and you can sign up any time, though the last week of February is as late as you can go before you won't have 5 weeks left to shoot.

Note: You need to be able to shoot 18 meters on a 40 cm target face, unless you're a cub level shooter, and then you can shoot on 60 cm.
